With the end of another semester, classes are wrapping up and the weight of exams and papers piles up ever more. Luckily, we are giving you one last opportunity to de-stress before finals season rolls around again.
On Friday, November 21st from 10 pm to 2 am, Country Fried Duck and Nourish UNC will be hosting Dance 306o. Dance 360o is a cultural celebration of dance music from countries across the globe, mixed by the very talented DJ Beau Lyons! We will be partnering with Country Fried Duck to bring you the best dance party (the very last weekend on campus before final exams).
Tickets are normally $5 at the door but pre-sale tickets will be offered for $3 the week before the event begins. Be sure to stop by the pit this Monday and Wednesday from 10am-2pm for our first round of ticket sales! People 18+ must get in through the doors before 12:30, where anybody 21+ can come join us anytime.
We are extremely excited and hope you guys join us for awesome music, great vibes, and a night to remember!
DANCE 360 WRAP UP
We are grateful to all those that came and joined us at our event. We had a blast seeing new faces and old friends - your support means the world to us.
Dance 360 was an event put on by our Ventures committee and was our biggest of the year. Normally, Ventures tries to conduct successful business ideas on campus. For Dance 360, we hoped to showcase a variety of world music, as provided by our DJ Will Givens. Hosting the event at Country Fried Duck introduced us to a new and exciting partnership for this year; we aspire to work more closely with community business, so contact us for any possibilities for upcoming collaborations!
We were also incredibly pumped to formally introduce our Project for this summer, as voted on by Nourish members. After a semester of hard work and dutiful planning, Nourish interns will be traveling to Uganda over the summer. They will be building crucial relationships with Mountains of Hope and the community there. We are looking for determined, impassioned students that may be interested in public and reproductive health, education, computer literacy, or sewing. The next interest meeting for such an awesome opportunity will be held in the Campus Y February 3rd at 5 pm!
